Do you girls know about the forest fires that has been harassing Brunei's forest for the past few days? Well... Today, i had a first hand account of that. And trust me, it was a HUGE one! It started around lunch behind one of the houses that is facing my house. The fire spread fast and destroyed the beautiful back hilltop scenery of 7 houses. And it took more than 5 hours for the fire personnel to put it out, on account that there was only one fire engine at the scene. It was really scary when the fire came only around 10 feet away from one of the houses. The weird part was that the owner of the said house was still standing in front of the fire unfazed with his children flanking him. If i were him, i'd have already been half way across the country saving my wardrobe. The wind was blowing particularly hard today, which obviously made the fire worst. The debris of the burnt trees flew everywhere. If you look at the compound of my house, you'll see a lot of black burnt stuff that used to be a part of a tree. But thank God, no one was hurt because of the fire and no property was destroyed. Happy ending! :)
But let this be a reminder to all: Global Warming is real!! It exist! Stop open burning. Start donating all your mirrors to NASA for them to launch it to outer space to reflect back the suns ray!Someone told me about this plan. I can't quite remember who.. Damn, i wish i would've paid more attention to the documentary Dr. Don made us watch last year. A Convenient Truth, anyone? Sighs.
There was another incident that happened to me yesterday. I went to the immigration place to renew my passport sometime after lunch. There's this thing when you have to scan your fingerprints. For what, i'm not so sure. Haha. Well, believe it or not, after countless tries only 2 out of 10 of my fingerprints cleared! Yeah.. Weird! I have always believed that there was something wrong with me. My missing fingerprints definitely just proved that! LOL No, the machine wasn't broken.. It was definitely me. I don't know what that leaves me to now. And whether Malaysian immigration will let me enter their country or not. Hmmm.. I hope its not THAT serious. Maybe i should be a spy! LOL kidding!
On that note, i shall leave you now..
