Hello my halimunan readers!
The long-anticipated holiday is here. Two weeks off, so how's everyone doing? I know my blog buddies are doing excellently. Raihan, I think, is the model student this holiday, something we all should aspire too! Why do I say so? Because.. she's been revising for the qualifying exam! Which is a lot more than I can say for myself.
Today is a Sunday and marks the end of half the holiday. I am ashamed to say that I haven't done anything productive throughout this entire week. What a waste of time! It's incredibly shocking. Homework and past papers have been residing in the same place they have since the last day of school: in my bag. Fungi have probably sprung up (please do!) That would be an awesome explanation to my teachers.
"I'm so sorry, Miss *inserts name* but all of my homework were eaten up by fungi *makes disappointed crying face*"
On a less depressing note, Bridging Minds starts this Tuesday! I'll be gone for about eight days, in which I would be missing two days of school -- an alarming thing, might I add since the qualifying exam is looming ahead. I won't moan and groan about how unfair it is. I'll just have to work out the schedule and find some time to... study. Ambitious teenagers should learn to persevere and multitask (something boys can never excel in, sorry boys)
By the way-
Why do people say, "I don't know how to eat that" in reference to food that they do not like or do not want to try? Of course they know how to eat it. All you have to do is open wide, chew, then swallow. I think what they are trying to say is "I don't like to eat it" or "I don't want to." But that can seem rude, especially if you want to impress someone. Just another random observation by yours truly :)
Lastly, everyone, seize the moment. We have only a week left and then the hustle and bustle of school life will once again, continue and we'll be left struggling, wondering, where did the time fly? So, whether it's finishing the huge stack of DVDs you planned to watch but never got around to, or simply revising, do it. Don't waste time with regret!
