Obsessed, yet again.
There's no other way to describe it. This time, my obsession is in the form of online games!
So, it all started with my watching
Nancy Drew on a
Thursday morning as I nursed a headache. The one I watched was the most recent remake with
Emma Roberts as
Nancy and the entire film was centered around a sixties-mystery theme, something I've
always liked. My sisters and I actually bought the game Cluedo but we never actually understood the instructions so it's left somewhere up the shelves, collecting dust. And who can forget that particula
r
Doctor Who series where the
Doctor was stuck in the sixties at a tea party hosted by
Agatha Christie? The whole mystery vibe is always made potent by the presence of an impartial detective trying to eliminate each person and find the true killer by identifying their alibis and motives.
AND I FOUND SUCH A GAME ONLINE! FREE! IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE DOWNLOADED EITHER.
I now try to squeeze as many cases as I can each day (four cases allowed to unsubscribed members though =( ). I have to collect evidences, scout suspects' homes and interrogate others. It's supremely fun! There's also a time crunch and if you don't catch the real killer (ie you land with a false accusation) you'll lose your credibility. Three times and you're out! Oy, it's so fun!
